‘Performance Drift Lesson’ by Tengku Djan Ley

Tengku Djan will be conducting a drift training program at Bkt Jalil Stadium on Saturday catered for rookies interested in learning proper drifting techniques. He would also organize a special session limited to 20 participants who want to fine tune their skills in preparation for the next 2 drift competitions held at the stadium.

Video cameras will be set-up at strategic areas around the course where images/videos will then be edited on-the-fly to provide all participants an opportunity to view their runs through a plasma screen where comments, ideas and tips can be shared among the drivers to further improve their skills and driving style.

Entry Fees: RM200 (Training Fees) + RM50 (Track Fees)

1000 – 1300 Session 1
1300 – 1400 Lunch Break
1400 – 1600 Session 2
1630 – 1830 Session 3

Training Brief (For Beginners):
The objective is to offer a basic introduction to proper performance driving & drifting techniques. Participants will be split to 3 groups (6-7pax per group). The course will incorporate basic but important factors on improving your driving/drifting performance & consistency. Key areas of improvement for the day is hand positioning, braking & throttle application techniques. We will also touch on basics of setting up your vehicle to enhance/improve your overall drifting performance. This training session is recommended for beginners.

Safety Requirements:
Helmets , shoes and long pants are compulsory.
Seatbelt is compulsory (3 point minimum)

Session Tips:
Make sure you have sufficient tires for training. Surface will be dry.
