2009 VW Golf GTI - Live Shots From Paris w/ Promo Video

Not due on our shores till mid-09, we’re guessing there still will be a considerable wait for the next generation Golf. Previewed at the on-going Paris Motor Show 2008, the new Golf GTI doesn’t look much different from the outside, the tout lines and stance look the same though the grill, lights, and some redesign work does make differentiating it possible. The interior is where the difference really lies. The steering wheel, center console lay-out and meters are all a step up from the current generation, but the gear lever and seats remain the same. Current Golf owners will be pleased but if you’re looking to purchase a Golf, this is a good time to think about whether or not its worth the wait. We’re guessing it is.
