5 Zigen race exhaust for the Nissan GTR

5 Zigen Exhaust for the Nissan GTRHere’s something you need to know. When you’re in the Nissan GTR, besides the monstrous mechanical sound within the car which is music to anyone’s ears, it actually sounds dissapointingly quiet from the outside. A good exhaust would definately justify the 911 turbo beating 3.8 litres.

Just when you thought 5 Zigen had gone missing in action after a long period of inactivity, they’ve catapulted themselves back on track by choosing the Nissan GTR as a platform for their new line of SP Spec Street and Spec Tune exhaust.

They don’t just make big and long straight mufflers anymore. This time, they are looking to target the premium Japanese. The 290,000 yen Spec Street exhaust saves about 7.8kg and turns up the volume to 90dB and 98dB with the optional 5Zigen front pipes.

Now, if you want to take the sound level further to the edge, like edging 103dB then it would be the 5 Zigen Spec Tune race exhaust. At 198,000 yen, it should be able to clear the highway path as you blast through it.

The following picture shows the 5 Zigen front pipes. Also constructed with 304 stainless steel and yet saves 8.6kg, it’s going to be a favourite replacement for the stock items for any GTR.
