Honda Malaysia Introduces Its 2008 MME Race Team

Honda Malaysia recently introduced a fully local Honda Malaysia Racing Team (HMRT) with 40 Malaysians and their locally-built Civic Type R race cars numbers 26 and 27 at a party in Kuala Lumpur.
With the motto “Our Challenging Spirit Continues”, the 40 HMRT members and 6 Malaysian drivers are all set to carry on Honda’s trademark “Challenging Spirit” onto the Sepang race tracks this weekend. Known for having the most professional and swift pit stop among all the other teams, HMRT’s aim this year is to capture the Overall Title, in addition to retaining their Class A Title for the 6th consecutive year. This is what you get when you cross breed a GTR and a 350Z, but thank god it’s only a rendering, for now. See, Nissan’s Z brand currently only has one model, the 350Z. Even that is going to be replaced by the new 370Z and in doing so, it would leave a gap large enough in its product line-up to launch a new model, and according to rumours, maybe even under the historic but discontinued Datsun brand. This is sad, this is really sad. Everytime I see or ride in our ‘official’ E46 M3 CSL, I secretly vow to own one someday but that is to be no more. A used E46 CSL just won’t work and by the time I could actually afford one, it’ll be obsolete. BMW Recalls 200,000 Vehicles

BMW is recalling 200,000 units of 3-series, 5-series and X3 models in the USA to fix faulty airbag sensors. The 2006 3-Series and 2004-2006 5-Series and X3 fitted with sports seats are affected; the front passenger seat may develop cracks in its covering and the weight-sensor beneath may be damaged, so the passenger airbag may then not deploy in the event of a crash. Audi develops race version of the R8
